CLB (Chinese Like Banana) was a comedy series built around a simple premise: putting people who are bad at Chinese into increasingly high-pressure situations where they had no choice but to speak it. The tension between the situation and their attempts to communicate became the source of the comedy, creating a repeatable format that could be adapted across different scenarios, talents and locations.

The series also became an early testing ground for format development and commercialisation, including the first episode's move into an external location and exploration of how the format could be packaged for potential sponsors and clients. The learnings from developing, testing and producing CLB eventually informed the content strategy behind Miludinosaur.
